⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
All Bree wanted was to uncover the truth behind her mother’s death. So she infiltrated the Legendborn Order, a secret society descended from King Arthur’s knights—only to discover her own ancestral power. Now, Bree has become someone new: A Medium. A Bloodcrafter. A Scion. But the ancient war between demons and the Order is rising to a deadly peak. And Nick, the Legendborn boy Bree fell in love with, has been kidnapped.
I may officially be obsessed with Tracy Deonn's writing! Sometimes you read a series and you can tell the author created details as the story progressed versus someone that created a world in full & distributed it across different books. The story weaves so amazingly! You have moments in Bloodmarked that reference back to moments from Legendborn and the connection of the two blew my mind. Enough to make you want to reread the first book. That's some damn good writing IMO!
Essentially, the story is just told very well and, as a Black woman, a lot is extremely relatable. I also love that I don't know where the story is going to take me next. What a ride!
